International Program in Counseling and Guidance
If you are wondering why we would like to train you into a competent counsellor, the journey began four decades ago when behavioural scientists felt that more people went to bed hungry for love or a kind word than those who went hungry for food. With an idea of reaching out and supporting individuals through their challenges of life, Banjara Academy started a free counselling centre. Additionally, we were convinced that every considerate, compassionate and caring person can reach out and enrich the lives of others – through empowerment. We have empowered thousands of genuine individuals from all backgrounds, ages and academic levels to sharpen their skills and to be more effective in counselling. For those not living in Bangalore we initiated a distance learning course in 1995, which was converted into an online International program in Counselling and guidance course with personal mentoring ten years ago.
Each student is assigned an individual Mentor/Counselor who will dedicate quality time helping the student with the learning.

IPCG program
People from all over the world have benefited from this highly experiential and practical course which is managed by practicing professionals. it is designed for even those who do not have prior theoretical knowledge of psychology, and is conducted with the explicit aim of empowering you with practical skills of counselling and human behaviour. IPCG / PG Diploma in Guidance and Counselling program comes with practical orientation — to understand, and practice the skills of psychological counseling at workplace, community, institutions, and informal set ups. This course is open to all adults from all walks of life. This program does not have any prescribed text books, theory, exams etc., but it is a powerful course where you introspect into your own life, improving your skills to enrich the quality of living. IPCG or PG diploma in guidance and counselling is a one year online, self-paced course with 12 modules and it is an ongoing course accepting students all through the year.

Banjara Academy offers free counselling ( face-to-face, telephonic and email ) for individuals, children, adolescents, family for inter-personal, emotional and any other psychological issues.
