I feel GRATITUDE is a habit

I feel GRATITUDE is a habit that can be inculcated – and then it becomes a part of our life, and we no longer have to make any efforts to feel thankful for anything and to anyone.

When we show our gratitude to others, we are expressing to them that life is wonderful and we are enjoying what we have received or are receiving. The habit that we need to build up is to minimize our thoughts about the bad things or bad people (however badly we may have suffered), and consciously spend more time in thinking, recalling the good things that happened and most important, the good people who made them happen – even the smallest gestures and favors done to us. Then develop the practice of expressing verbally and non-verbally from time to time, not just on formal occasions.

And gratitude is contagious, it spreads like a good virus, making others also become thankful to many more.
