Husna F. Rahaman (B.A, B.Ed) has a diploma in learning disabilities and diploma in counseling skills (DCS). A special educator and a parent of a dyslexic child, she started the Larkspur Educational Trust in 2005, a school specially for dyslexic children. Earlier she had worked with Spastic Society of Karnataka in the research and diagnostic centre and later at Vidya Niketan school in the block for National Institute of Open Schooling [NIOS]. Larkspur is the only school in Bangalore which caters to only dyslexia and no other disability.
