Genie after her B.Sc. and B.Ed, she completed her M.Sc. in Psychology and is a perpetual student, currently doing her MA in English Literature.

Having had extensive experience both as a teacher and Head Mistress in various schools, she involved herself deeply in holistic development of human beings, particularly children. She completed her Diploma in Counselling Skills and Diploma in Life Skills, interned in M.S. Ramiah Hospital as a counsellor, was trained for Palliative Care and counseling patients with terminal illness in Baptist Hospital, and underwent a course in hypno-therapy.

She has specialized in assessment, guidance and development of children of all ages, and needs – including physically or mentally challenged, those with learning difficulty, exceptional children, or children with emotional trauma. As an expert team member of Banjara Academy, she conducts training programs for children, adults, parents and teachers. Despite this she spends extensive time giving personal attention to every child that needs support and guidance.

She has been a mentor and life-coach to many people of different backgrounds and ages, and is very compassionate in her understanding and approach to any human issue.
