The old year has drawn to a close,
Here are some thoughts to dwell on....
The first few days of the year are often quite exciting.
There is a sense of anticipation in the new year, a hope that the change in numbers (from 2010 to 2011) will bring in something more exciting and hopeful.
We change calendars, diaries and we may even buy new clothes or a new vehicle,
You may be tired with Christmas and New Year parties, shopping etc.
Introspection and retrospection can be done at any time,
But there is a special need to do it now.
Before we start settling down in this fresh year, it is time to see what we have achieved, what we have lost, what we have contributed, and what we have missed out on.
An objective and critical review will go a long way in helping us shape this year for ourselves. The review should not be restricted to career, money or material areas. It should include your relationships, your peace of mind, your sense of satisfaction or fulfillment, and your emotional gains and losses.
Do it ..... before the New Year gifts become stale and you get drowned in routine mundane life.
