Say-"Aaall izzz well"

I very rarely see films, but "3-Idiots" was an exception, since I had been an idiot for 5 years at IIT-Bombay long, long ago. The film told me that human behavior does not change. No amount of technological advances can alter the basic human thinking and behavior patterns. And the young will continue to suffer at the hands of the "elder, wise, experienced, better qualified" people in authority.

The song in the film that says "Koi na jaaney apna future kya hoga...." has an interesting line, which goes like this:

Murghi kya jaane andey ka kya hoga,
Life milegi ya tavve pe fry hoga

(the hen does not know what will be the fate of its offspring the egg, whether it will get life and will hatch as a chick, or whether it will be fried on a pan)

So with human life. One may be sentimental, spiritual, religious, or fatalistic, but what will happen will happen. "Que sara sara – whatever will be, will be". What is fate, karma, taqdeer – and can we work towards changing it? I personally believe that those who move smoothly in journey of life are those who say –

"Aaall izzz well"
