International Graduate Diploma in Counselling Skills (IGDCS)

After twenty-two years of conducting face-to-face and distance learning courses in counselling, Banjara Academy takes pride in announcing the jewel in its crown, a program for individuals from any part of the world to learn the practical skills of human dynamics and counselling, the International Graduate Diploma in Counselling Skills (IGDCS) course. The course qualifies you as a Certified, Professional Counsellor.

Formal inauguration of the course has been held at our Retreat "Manthan" in Bangalore, at 3:00 pm on 15th August 2010, on the special occasion of India's Independence Day, a tribute from India to the rest of the world.

Eligibility : The course will be open to persons all over the world, of all ages and from all walks of life.
Course Expenses: Rs 20,800/- (Rupees Twenty thousand eight hundred only)

Duration : One year from the date of getting the user name and password to access the course online.
Date for enrollment : Any time, around the year.

Even if you have no prior theoretical knowledge of psychology, the IGDCS will make you understand, master, and practise the skills of psychological counselling, opening up job opportunities for you in offices and factories, educational institutions, adolescents, hospitals, nursing homes, alongside busy medical professionals, women’s or community organizations, old-age homes, hospices, de-addiction centres, with families, youth and children, for marital harmony, etc. You can set up your own counselling practice too.
