A note from Dr. Ali Khwaja

Dear DCS-ers
Hope all of you are doing well.  It is amazing how many enquiries we are getting for jobs these days.  Those of you who wish to take up paid assignments as counselors, particularly in educational institutions, now is the time to apply.  With the new Academic Year, many are open to taking in full or part-time counselors.  If you have personal contacts, even if they have not advertised, do go and explain to them about counselling.

Even otherwise, do not lose touch with counselling – and with each other.  It was a pleasure to get a mail from Pallavi Singh, one of the youngest in the first batch (2000), who completed DCS and went on to join the Army as an officer.  She is now doing a PG course in IIM Lucknow, and plans to leave the army and get a civilian job.  She remembers Banjara very fondly.

The new batch (DCS-10) is starting soon.  This year admissions have been good, and if any of your friends are seriously interested, please ask them to get in touch at the earliest, as we may have to close the batches that get full very soon.

Best wishes !

Ali
